In the “olden days” a person with a mental health issue could be shut away in an upstairs bedroom or locked up in a facility not receiving proper treatment. Today, the stigma has lessened, although it  may still be present, and there are many resources available.

Registration Open for Military Teen Adventure Camps

Military teens between the ages of 14-18 years old of Active Duty, Guard, Reserve, and retired personnel are eligible to attend a variety of Adventure Camps scheduled between May 2016 and February 2017.
Air Force Teens Attend National 4-H Conference

Twelve Air Force delegates from five AF installation Youth Programs attended the National 4-H Conference, April 9-14, 2016 in Chevy Chase, Md. During the conference, teens selected a societal topic, discussed community impacts, identified solutions, and developed a briefing to present federal agencies in the Washington D.C. area.
